Dr Sarath Bodapati

Dr Sarath Bodapati is a dermatologist in Milton, Brisbane, Queensland. Dr Bodapati is an Australian born and Australian trained fully qualified dermatologist, specialising in medical, paediatric and cosmetic dermatology. Dr Bodapati also provides safe and effective treatments for Pearly Penile Papules, fordyce spots, acne, and other dermatological conditions, in Brisbane.

After graduating from Medicine (with honours) at Queensland’s James Cook University, Sarath completed his junior medical training and specialist dermatology training at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, Princess Alexandra Hospital, Queensland Children’s Hospital (previously known as Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital) and Mater Hospital. Sarath brings a coveted international perspective to his practice, having been selected to spend a year of his specialist training at Queen’s Hospital in London, United Kingdom.

Sarath’s special interests include skin cancer, acne, psoriasis, eczema, male genital dermatoses (incl. treatment of pearly penile papules, fordyce spots, angiokeratomas), hyperhidrosis (sweating), auto-immune connective tissue disorders (e.g. lupus), blistering disorders (e.g. bullous pemphigoid) and paediatric medicine. He also has extensive experience with and interest in cosmetic/laser dermatology.

Sarath also practices publicly, at the dermatology departments at both Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and Queensland Children’s Hospital.

During his spare time, Dr Bodapati enjoys spending time with his young and growing family, including his daughter, two dogs and cat.
